Best Skiing and Snowboarding in and Around Southeast Michigan

You don't need to drive far to find a great ski resort. Southeast Michigan has plenty of ski resorts where you can spend a day – or more! – swooshing down the slopes.

Southeast Michigan is the place to be come ski season. Use this list to find a ski resort close to home. Keep in mind these ski resorts don't just rely on Mother Nature for snow. Many have their own snowmaking equipment to keep the snow falling all winter long!

From beginner skier to expert snowboarder, Shanty Creek has a slope to match your skill level. With two mountains and over 50 runs, you can spend your time going downhill, or take your time cross-country skiing. There's a hill set aside for tubing, too!
