'Geakiac Exhibit' at Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum

This new exhibit hosts content for families sponsored by different science and technology organizations. First up: Kids can learn all about space!

The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum has a new addition as of October 2011: The Geakiac Exhibit! Geakiac stands for "Gear Enabled Analog Keyboard Input And Compute," and it's a display device that will host content from different science and technology organizations. Different groups will sponsor cool stuff used to teach your children all about science and technology in the AAHOM's signature way – hands-on learning!

Currently, the Michigan Space Grant Consortium is sponsoring the exhibit, so kids can enjoy Space A-Z – which gives space information to match every letter of the alphabet.

The exhibit is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily – with the exception of Sunday, when it's open noon-5 p.m. Admission to the AAHOM is $10 for kids ages 2-plus, and it's free for kids under age 2 and members.
