'Haunted Theatre' Teen Play in Detroit

Looking for some family fun stage thrills for Halloween? Oct. 28-30, 2011, catch this Matrix Theatre Company favorite, a student made show

Parents and kids can mix up their October tricks with a little stage "treat" at Haunted Theatre! This perennial favorite, great for ages 12-plus, heads back to the Matrix Theatre Company Oct. 28-30, 2011. The theater is transformed into a scary space with creepy characters ready to steal the show!

This performance, always scripted by students, is a little different each year. In 2011, the theme will be teens sitting around a campfire, telling scary stories from around the world. As the campfire scene fades out, the eerie tales will come to life, sending shivers up audience members' spines.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. (Also, before and after this show, be sure to check out the Matrix production of Southwest Story, a Detroit spin on Romeo & Juliet, running Oct. 14-Nov. 13, 2011.)
