Orchards Children's Services Adoptions: Sylvia

This young woman is one of the many children in the foster care system that is currently looking for a permanent home.

Sylvia is currently looking for an adoptive family through Orchards Children's Services Adoption Resource Consultation Program. She is genuine and sweet girl who loves animals and art. She is kind, inquisitive and has a great smile. Sylvia can be outgoing, but also likes to have quiet time. She sometimes lacks confidence and needs to be persuaded to make choices for herself instead of making choices to please others. Sylvia enjoys eating Chinese food, roller skating and swimming. She is a girly girl and likes to wear jewelry and headbands. Sylvia loves all kinds of animals, although she notes that her favorites are horses.

Sylvia hopes to become an animal rescuer or a veterinarian when she gets older. Sylvia has been through a lot in her life and she is very resilient. She indicates that she would like to have a family that can love and protect her. She is open to different family compositions and would love if the family had pets. Sylvia hopes that her forever family will enjoy playing games, eating together and doing different activities in the community. Most of all, Sylvia is hoping for a family that will stick with her no matter what the future holds.
