Every year, Metro Parent holds its CoverKids contest to choose 10 kids who will be featured on the covers of Metro Parent's flagship magazine throughout the year. Here are our final dozen picks from our 2010 competition. Watch for these cuties to grace our covers starting in October 2010 and continuing through September 2011. This Metro Parent account is for my small household of two. I'm Nija Mallory and my son is William (Tre'). Tre was diagnosed with autism at about 18 months of age. He has developed tremendously every year since then. God delivered him to be for a reason and I am glad He chose me. I love my son. We love to do exciting things around town. We visit the FOX theatre at least twice a year, enjoy indoor waterparks (Splash Universe, Dundee, MI), going to the park, bowling, Jeepers, and we are both full time students. I have always read Metro Parent and found many interesting and valuable resources. I even grab a couple and share with my coworkers. This is my first time logging onto the site (after my son gave me a Disney On Ice (Toy Story 3) contest application to fill out. I'm glad I logged on and created an account today and I look forward to my regular visits to the site. Thanks and have a great day!
