Good Old Days Festival in Richmond

This annual family fun fest in downtown Richmond in Macomb County, running Sept 8-11, 2011, features a midway, classic car show and more!

The city of Richmond hosts its 48th annual Good Old Days Festival from Thursday until Sunday, Sept. 8-11, 2011. The free event has something for everyone – from live music to games and an antique car show!

The Little Miss Richmond pageant kicks off the four-day fun, which includes annual faves like The Great Michigan Parade (on Sunday) featuring 25 marching bands and floats.

The Children's Main Street Parade on Saturday is followed by a ping-pong blowout for kids ages 10 and under. Thousands of ping-pong balls are fired into the air and kids can catch them to win cool prizes.

Event times are as follows:

  • Thursday: 5-10 p.m.
  • Friday: 1-10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
