Wilson Barn Pumpkin Fest 2011 in Livonia
From Oct. 1-30, Wilson Barn hosts this event featuring hay and pony rides, crafts, cider, doughnuts, haunts and fun for the entire family
Ah, fall. The season for cider, doughnuts, picking pumpkins – and Halloween! And, all month long, parents and kids can savor and celebrate the season at the Wilson Barn Pumpkin Fest in Livonia.
The 2011 fest runs every day, Oct. 1-30. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, find pumpkins, corn stalks, hayrides, gourds, pony rides and more. Then, on weekends from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., enjoy all that – plus entertainment, cider, doughnuts, hot chocolate and a craft show.
Don't miss out on the children's craft day, happening Saturday, Oct. 22 at noon and 1 and 2 p.m. It's free for ages 3-10, but you gotta register.
To boot, kids age 12 and under will love a walk through the haunted barn – a perfect way to get in the Halloween spirit!
Admission to the fun is free, but there is a $1 charge for haunted barn entry and kids crafts are also $1.
