Oktoberfest Sterling Heights

Funky Ferndale Art Fair

Victorian Festival

This festival has strolling entertainers, old-fashioned games, vintage baseball, a parade, food and much more all themed to lumbering.

Harvest Moon Celebration

The Sundquist Pavilion has harvest food pairings, a cozy fire, pig roast, music and cider, artisan ales and more. Saturday features kids' activities.

Oktoberfest Birmingham

Sept. 19-20, 2014

Designed for families, this 11th annual event has German and polka music, a petting zoo for the kids, balloon art, face painting, food and even an outdoor movie at dusk.

Romulus Pumpkin Festival

Davisburg Heritage Festival

Common Ground Art Fair

It's the 40th year for the Birmingham Street Art Fair. Explore more than 160 artists; find food and kids' hands-on activities, too.


Sept. 26-27, 2014

Back for its second year – after debuting in 2012 – this event lights up the night with 35 electric installations sure to dazzle. There's an 8 p.m. Saturday bike parade too (register at 6 p.m.).

South Lyon Area Pumpkinfest
