Franklin Athletic Club – Day Camps

Keep kids active and engaged at one of the many day camps offered at Franklin Athletic Club. Whether your child loves basketball, tennis, swimming or dance, there is a camp that will meet his or her needs.

One of Franklin’s most popular camps is Fun and Games, which gives campers an old-fashioned camp experience filled with swimming, arts and crafts, an inflatable sports arena and obstacle course, and much more. Campers will also get the opportunity to take part in enrichment classes including tennis, capoeira and in-house field trips.

While camps last for five days, there is flexibility available for kids who may or may not be able to attend each day of camp.

Additional camps include tennis, basketball, swimming and the Plays, Props and Performance camp, which is great for those performance arts lovers in your family. “Game crazy” kids can enjoy Game and App Design for Phones and Tablets, and Robotics Camps. Feel a bit more Zen with yoga camp – and much more.

Each week, kids will experience a different theme – and tons of fun.

New this year: toddler camp, which is offered twice per week. Contact Franklin Athletic Club for additional details about all of the camp opportunities available to your child.

The day camps have a variety of theme weeks to keep kids occupied and interested, and there is always someone looking after them as well. It makes the summer camp more of an experience for the kids, and reassures parents that kids are having fun and are well taken care of.

My son, age 5, attended camp last summer and loved it. He had so many fun times at the pool and made some great friends. He still talks about all of the different things he learned at Safety City. I’m comfortable leaving my children knowing they are in good hands and treated like family.

Honestly couldn’t be happier with this camp, my kids have gone to so many different camps and this is by far there favorite camp they’ve gone to! I can trust that my kids will have fun and be safe! The staff are very friendly and flexible! I will definitely sign my kids up for this upcoming summer!

My kids (4 and 7) had so much fun last summer at the fun & games camp! There are also so many options for themes, sports, etc. in addition to the fun & games camp that you are bound to find something to suit your child. The staff are so nice and caring and make the kids feel right at home. They can’t wait to go again this summer!

My 7 year old looks forward every time she has a school break so she can go to Franklin Club. The staff there is very professional and they interact well with the kids. It is such a refreshing environment.

Best quality day camps and the best quality for the price. The place has a lot of different camps to offer and they have camps all summer long right up to when the kids go back to school. They also have camps during all of the school breaks. When my kids were out of school for teacher conferences or odd days they accommodated our school by offering a camp for parents that worked. They even offer camps for as young as two years old and they keep the kids busy all day long. They have swimming, tennis, basketball, pools, an outdoor playground and bounce houses. My sons come to all of the Pistons academy basketball camps and the nike camps. My daughter participates in the fun and games camps and the Fit Girl camps. My kids will be there this summer almost every week, they can’t wait to see their camp counselors again.

These day camps are the best I have found. We have tried other camps but my kids want to return year after year because of the activities that are offered. It’s nice to be able to let my kids try all of the different things they offer each week and they are able to try so many different sports and activities all at the same place. My kids love the basketball camps and the regular day camps. They have also tried the theatre and minecraft. They also have a big tennis and swimming camp. The schedule is really flexible, you don’t have to sign up for sessions or weeks you can sign up just for a day or two if you want. The staff are all very friendly and the facility is very clean. They have a big open house in the spring and if you register at the open house you get big discounts on your camps. We will be back this year!
