Looking for a fun way to spend the weekend with your family? Attend Saline’s Summerfest in Downtown Saline Aug. 7-8, 2015, for a weekend full of attractions for people of all ages.
With so much to do in so little time, Saline’s Summerfest allows you to unwind with tasty food, live entertainment and enjoyable activities.
From three-on-three basketball and a volleyball tournament to tricycle races and inflatables, children are able to have a good time while also being active.
New additions to the Summerfest this year include a Children’s Art Showcase and the Chalk Art Challenge.
For those with older children, there will be a Teen Block Party on Aug. 8. The block party will include performances from local acts as well as a photo booth. Casino games are also available for adults.
There will also be a car show showcasing the latest electric vehicles for those interested in learning more about electric models.
Another unique festivity you don’t want to miss is Probility’s Beat the Heat 5K, which will kick off during the festival. If you prefer not to break out into a sweat, there will be a Historical Trolley Tour hosting rides around the town of Saline.
Catch the fun noon-9:30 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Saturday. Families can find a full schedule detailing various activity times online.
