The tot-friendly event features live concerts for children including a performance from Miss Paula & The Candy Bandits, a local mom rock band. They play everything from punk covers to classical children’s music. The Reefermen and Soul Hustler are performing, too, along with the Royal Oak High School Dance Team and Emerald Dance Academy Performance Troupe.

Swing by for face painting, red carpet photos and the Crazy Hair Station. Kids can then become rock stars by picking up and playing tons of instruments at the McCourt’s Musical Petting Zoo. Macaroni crafts and balloon sculptures will also be featured at this family event.

While you’re there, don’t forget to fill your tummies with food and drinks from local vendors.

The concert runs 5-8 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is priced at $5 per person, with proceeds benefiting the Royal Oak Optimist Club.
