The tradition continues with a new makeover at the Halloween Hoot, Oct. 16-18, 2015, a beloved Oakland County Halloween event your family won’t want to miss!
Beginning on Friday, take a few minutes to sit by the campfire with entertainment. Guests walk through a luminaire-lit trail in the woods. Stop at stations to watch short, entertaining skits written and performed by local high school and middle students.
Every 10 minutes, a volunteer guides a group to walk through the trail. The interactive skits are age appropriate and comical. You may learn something new with storytelling.
Bring a bag. You will need it for gathering all of the good snacks from trick-or-treating. Grab a cup of cider and a doughnut to complete the night. (And be sure to wear your costumes, since dressing up is part of the fun!)
Admission is $7 per person. Tickets sell based on particular time slots – and they sell fast. You must register for this event in advance. Times are as follows:
- Friday, Oct. 16: 6-8 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 17: 4 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 18: 4 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
