Experience the holiday memories of the past while making new ones of your own at the Heritage Holidays exhibit at the Wolcott Mill Metropark Historic Center, happening Dec. 5-6, 12-13 and 19-20, 2014.
Kids can explore holiday traditions of yesteryear and visit Santa in the historic Wolcott grist mill. You can stroll through the Metropark to see decorations and lights set up for the Christmas season. Plus, bring along a blanket to stay toasty and warm on a horse-drawn carriage ride (weather permitting).
The event wouldn't be complete without stopping to make a holiday craft, or warming up with a cup of hot-mulled cider or hot chocolate! Warm up around a bonfire, too!
Visit the event 6-8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Dec. 5-20, 2014. This year the event will cost $5 per person, but pre-registration is not required. It costs $7/vehicle entry to the park.
The event is sure to create holiday memories for your whole family. See the Metro Parent listing for more about the 2014 Heritage Holidays exhibit at the Wolcott Mill Metropark Historic Center.
