Lights, trees, ornaments – and maybe even snow! – decorate the Wolcott Mill Historic Center at the Wolcott Mill Metropark for Heritage Holidays, running weekends Dec. 4-19, 2015.
Your day includes holiday arts and crafts for the kids. Plus, Santa plans to make his visit at the event, so don’t miss out on seeing him. He’ll be happy to learn about your kids’ Christmas wishes! Take a trip in a horse-drawn wagon ride. If the weather does not permit a carriage outing, that’s OK! Enjoy a tractor ride instead. Listen to live music and take pictures in a sleigh at the Long Barn.
Feeling hungry? Purchase tasty food available as you stop to grab a few gifts. Sip on a nice cup of hot chocolate or mulled cider sitting by the bonfire. And definitely don’t forget to make some s’mores!
From 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 4-5, 11-12 and 18-19, 2015, let the cold winter season bring the warm holiday spirit. Admission is $5 per person, and there’s a $7 vehicle entry fee.
