What’s better than a day of food, shopping and pampering with your favorite girlfriends? How about four days of it?
That’s what you’ll get at the Michigan International Women’s Show coming up April 28-May 1, 2016 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
The annual event gives women of all ages the perfect chance to “treat yourself” with makeovers, facials, hairstyling and more. You’ll hear from speakers on topics like de-cluttering, managing your finances and gaining mental balance and there’s even a Fashion and Entertainment Stage featuring a hula hoop contest, children’s model search, mother-daughter lookalike contest and more.
Love to cook – or just love great food? This show has lots in store on the food front. The Stonebridge Kitchen & Bath Cooking Stage will have a wide range of cooking demonstrations (from filled cakes and cupcakes to “light and fresh lunch”) and you can take part in the Taste of Home Cooking School.
Guests will get to browse more than 500 exhibits offering clothing, accessories and home accents, plus see fashion shows, take a scavenger hunt and more. You’ll also find celebrity guests like Michael O’Rourke and hypnotist Gary Conrad.
The Michigan International Women’s Show will also offer Teachers Day on Saturday and Mother Daughter Day on Sunday, with special promotions and activities for each.
