On your mark, get set, go! The Monster Jam is back at Ford Field in Detroit for one night only, Jan. 30, 2016. A Party in the Pit, which runs from 2 to 5 p.m., kicks off this event and offers fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get up close and personal with the trucks and drivers in the Monster Jam show. This exclusive event allows fans to take pictures with drivers, get autographs, snap photos with their favorite truck and more.
Gates for the main Monster Jam event open at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Early arrival time is strongly encouraged to ensure a close parking space. The show starts at 7 p.m. so make sure you and your little ones are in your seats by then and ready to watch some dirt fly.
Monster Jam is perfect for children who love trucks, and action, but keep in mind that the noise level may be loud in the stadium, so earplugs are suggested for young children.
There will be opportunities for refreshments and food throughout the event, so make sure to bring your appetite. If you want a more family oriented dinner, ensure to reserve a spot for the Monster Family Fiesta from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Hall of Legends on level 3, near section 214. This family sanctioned event will be loaded with an assortment of food – like a nacho bar, fresh salad, desserts and more. This event is wheelchair accessible, too.
