Santa Claus is coming to your town. He’s a busy guy, but Kris Kringle always makes time to visit the children of southeast Michigan. There are plenty of opportunities to have a photo snapped with the jolly fellow. The kick-off for Santa’s arrival is Thursday, Nov. 6 (6-8 p.m.). Kids can visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus and PAWS the Detroit Tigers Mascot. To support the #ChadToughFund (for pediatric brain tumor research), sign up for the Santa Breakfast at California Pizza Kitchen, which is 8-10 a.m. Dec. 13. For kids with sensitivities to flashes and music, there’s a Caring Santa event 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Dec. 7. Your pet can get a photo with Santa 8-9 p.m. Dec. 7 and 14.

This Santa visit will be an experience to remember. Santa’s Ice Palace at the Fairlane Town Center features a 30-foot ice dome with falling snow, a light show and displays.
