Hitting Detroit July 14-17, 2011, the 19th annual Concert of Colors cultural extravaganza spans not one, not two – but three locations!
First up: the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History for hip-hop, rock, R&B performances and more. Next on the list are Friday's festivities at the Detroit Institute of Arts, which feature blues, boogie woogie, Latin and jazz performances. And finally, the Max M. Fisher Music Center is the hotspot on Saturday and Sunday. World rock, reggae, ska and classical are just a few of the music genres you'll experience.
Kids' activities, including making a rain stick, listening to a storyteller and more will offered throughout the festivities. Don't miss out!
