Huzzah! The Michigan Renaissance Festival is back for another year, and the 16th century fun is kicking off August 20, 2011, and continues on weekends until October 2 at Hollygrove Grounds in Holly.

From the fashion to the scenery, you and your family will step back in time with the live armored jousting, Magical Children's Realm, almost 200 master artisans, live entertainment and, of course, food "fit for a king." Enjoy a different theme each weekend, including the Highland Fling (that's Aug. 27 and 28) and Harvest Huzzah (on Sept. 24 and 25), among many more! One Friday event – Festival Friday – will be happening on Sept. 23, which is a great way for kids and school groups to get a little Renaissance education. The fun runs from 10 a.m.- 7 p.m.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • $19.95/adults
  • $17.95/students and seniors
  • $10.95/child
