What has games, rides and bunches of orange, fuzzy fruit? Why, the Michigan Peach Festival of Romeo, of course! Families, head on out to this fab fest in downtown Romeo, at 32 Mile and Van Dyke, for some pretty sweet fun.
All festival long, patrons can expect a midway full of carnival games and rides for all ages. Plus, live entertainment and great food throughout the festival, a car show on Sunday, a parade on Monday, a pet and baby photo contest, book sale, bed race, 5K and 10K runs, plus much more.
On Saturday, take your little peach to Romeo Village Park on Rawles Street for a day full of kid-friendly activities at KidFest 2014. Here, kids 14 and under can participate in a dressed-up stuffed animal or bicycle decoration contest, a pie eating contest, a water balloon toss.
Parents, be sure to grab yourself a treat at Beer Around the World and don’t forget to nab your fill of fruit at one of the orchards in the area or one of the pie stands at the festival.
Times vary for this fest. Entry to the festival is free, but there are some charges for some activities. A $20 full-day ride wristband is available.
