Toys and games are the topic at this year's Hands-on Holidays at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. This winter break, kids will get to play with and learn the science behind all of their favorite toys and games with tons of fun activities, crafts and entertainment.
From Dec. 26, 2014 until Jan. 4, 2015, this hands-on exhibit will explore classic games and toys like Operation, Jenga and Slinkies, along with some other not-so-common games and toys to see what makes them move, fall and spin.
Performances take place every day with new shows by puppeteers Kevin Kammeraad and Seth Shaffer, plus returning performers Zeemo the Yo-Yo Man, Bubble Man Ron Loyd, Professor Ray from Professor Ray's Everyday Science and more!
Plus, there are tons of challenges and make-and-takes, including one very cool snowball bouncy ball craft. Kids can make their own bouncy balls to take home.
Activities run 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily except for Dec. 28, Jan. 1 and Jan. 4 when activities take place noon-4 p.m.
Admission for adults and kids ages 2 and up is $11.
