Monsters will be tearing up the lion’s den on Feb. 28, 2015 as Monster Jam hits Ford Field for loads of loud, dirty, family-friendly fun.
Detroit events are always entertaining and this one is no different! Families can expect some of their favorite, decked-out and easily recognizable giants – like the tail-wagging, tongue-dropping, Monster Mutt and the menacing, and bright pink, Madusa. Plus, Zombie, El Toro Loco, Avenger and, of course, the world renowned, record shattering trucks, Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction and more.
These 10,000-pound maniacal machines pack a full-throttled punch as they jump, slide and ravage their way through a dirt track, soar jaw-dropping lengths, crush through obstacles, freestyle a few moves and rain the crowd with dirt.
This traveling show provides all the makings for a whole day, too. Arrive early for pre-show “Pit Party” at 2 p.m. Here, kids will get to meet the stars of the show and their drivers, explore the track, take photos and more. Then, at 4 p.m., head to the Hall of Legends for hot dogs, chicken and dessert at the Monster Tailgate.
Monster Jam at Ford Field starts at 7 p.m. on February 28, 2015. Doors open at 5 p.m. and ticket prices range $20-$55/adults, $10-$55/kids ages 2-12. Tickets for the Pit Party are $10, and parking is $15 in the Ford Field lots.
