Do you want to build a snowman? Or would you rather see one carved from ice? During the Mount Clemens Ice Carving Show, southeast Michigan families can enjoy live ice carving demos and displays, Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2015, as the Mount Clemens Downtown Development Authority hosts this10th annual event.
Dress for the weather and take a walk along the sidewalks of Macomb Place and Cherry Street Mall to view even more ice art.
After seeing some cool demonstrations, head over for some toasty fun at the Indoor Kids Wonderland Warming Center. Here, you can enjoy arts and crafts with Elsa and friends, face painting and putt putt golf. Plus, the entire family can enjoy the popular game of Family Feud. Don’t forget to chill and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, too.
The ice carving demonstrations will take place on the Fountain Stage, located on Macomb Place between Walnut and Pine streets. Shows run all weekend – and times are as follows:
- Friday: noon-6 p.m.
- Saturday: noon-4 p.m.
- Sunday: noon-3 p.m.
This event is free and free municipal parking is available in the surrounding area.
