Looking for a fun way to spend warm summer days with your family? Look no further than all of the outdoor concerts happening throughout metro Detroit. Pack lawn chairs or a blanket and snacks and head to one of these local venues for some family-friendly tunes! Most concerts are free or require only a small fee for parking. Get ready to sing and dance all summer long at these local music in the park events in southeast Michigan.

Macomb County

Summer Sounds Presented by Motor City Co-Op Credit Union

Nashville comes to Macomb County this summer by way of 99.5 WYCD. Grab your cowboy boots and come to downtown Mount Clemens for a free country concert featuring some of your favorite artists: Waterloo Revival on June 3, Logan Mize on July 1, and Dean Alexander on Aug. 5.

Music on the Lake Concerts

Bud Light Riversight and Sound Concert

Summer Concerts and Kids Day in Shelby Township

Kids get treated to music and movies at this community event. Square Pegz delivers ’80s and ’90s tunes on July 8, Rick Lieder Band featuring Marshall Allen on July 15 and Captured Detroit (Journey Tribute Band) is July 30. The can’t-miss Kids’ Day is July 22, complete with a climbing wall and movie Big Hero 6.

Music in the Park in Macomb Township

These 90-minute shows take place rain or shine! Includes a cool Kidzone play area with fun, games and surprise guests. Sonic Lunch Outdoor Concerts in Ann Arbor
