Adrenaline junkies of all ages strap in for three days of boat races and boating-themed family fun this year as PNC Bank and the Trenton Rotary Club present Roar on the River at Elizabeth Park in Trenton, July 18-20, 2014.
A Taste of the Races party kicks off the roaring event on Friday night. This pirate-themed party features cuisine from many downriver diners, plus music by Passport to Nowhere and Fifty Amp Fuse. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their best pirate costumes for a chance to win a prize!
On the water, you'll see Junior Hydros three-lap heats, Typhoon Tommy Jet Ski shows and the SST 45 and SST 200 World Championships.
Kids and families alike can learn to pilot a tunnel race boat at the driver school, check out the live entertainment from some great, high-energy bands, and enjoy bouncy inflatables, games, food face painting and more!
The fun at Roar on the River takes place at the following times:
- Friday: noon-8 p.m.
- Saturday: 7 a.m.-midnight
