Why sit in a cold movie theater during the summer season when you can take the family to a drive-in, sit outside and even wear pajamas?
The USA Hockey Arena Summer Drive-In opened for its 2016 season on June 10, and will be open nightly through Sept. 4, 2016, so pack up the kids and head out!
All tickets are good for that night’s double feature, so not only do you get to watch one movie, but two in one night. The parking lot has three theaters showing a range of brand new films all summer long. Tune your car radio to the drive-in’s FM station to hear the movie through your car speakers.
As for food, there are plenty of great snacks and drinks available for purchase at the concession stand. But if you’re looking for dinner, CJ’s Brewing Company has you covered. Located inside the USA Hockey Arena, CJ’s Brewing Company offers a great variety of meals for everyone at the drive-in. The have a dinner and a movie deal for $18/person, and you can even have it delivered right to your car.
The showings change frequently, so be sure to check the website for an updated list. There’s usually a family-friendly pick.
The gates open at 7:30 p.m. each night, with movies starting at dusk. Movies will be shown almost every night of the week, with the exception of Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016.
Tickets are $10 for anyone 13 and older, $8 for kids ages 4-12 and kids under 3 get in free. Student and group rates are also available.
