Get details on the 2012 Arts, Eats & Beats in Royal Oak here.
The last official weekend of summer 2011 is almost here – and with that comes the annual Arts, Beats & Eats festival in downtown Royal Oak, this year set to run from Friday, Sept. 2 through Monday, Sept. 5.
This is the second year the city's hosting this tasty fun event, which has been around for 14 years. This year, attendees will enjoy a new expanded layout, along with 200-plus performers on 10 stages. Tons of grub from local eateries, plus an arts and crafts show, round out the fun. For the little tikes, the Meijer Kids Zone features crafts, karaoke and more.
The fest starts on Friday at 11 a.m. and continues daily until 11 p.m., with the exception of Monday – when the fun ends at 10 p.m. There is a $3 admission, but kids under 3 get in free.
