You can help contribute to Michigan’s economy by buying local goods made and sold right here in the Mitten State. Don’t miss the chance! Head to the Buy Michigan Now Festival in Northville Aug. 5-7, 2016 and show your support for Michigan businesses.
Come check out all the products at this fest, running for the eighth year, in downtown Northville. More than 100 different vendors will be there every day, including Absopure water, Faygo, the Detroit Shirt Company and many more.
There’s a product for everyone down at the festival, so bring the whole family. Seriously! Dogs are welcome, so bring your furry friend as well to check out the companies selling dog treats.
And in Town Square, there will be live entertainment every day by local Michigan musicians, so not only are there Michigan products, but music as well.
At North Center Street, there is the Kids Zone, where kids can play games, meet mascots, see magicians and more.
For those 21 and over, you are invited to try out the Michigan craft beers and wines as well, offered by the Northville Chamber of Commerce.
Other entertainment includes: local authors, celebrity appearances and product demonstrations.
The festival is in the middle of downtown Northville, and Main and Center streets are closed.
The hours of the festival are:
- 4-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5
- 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6
- 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7
With three days of fun, there is plenty of time to see all of the shops’ booths and browse. Plus, admission is free.
