Now that’s thinking smart, and it’s exactly what you’ll get at the Civil War Remembrance at Greenfield Village in Dearborn this Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29, 2017. Camps, cavalry and period music will pop up all over the village as Union and Confederate re-enactors dress in period clothing and act out scenes from the Civil War. Military tactical demonstrations, historian insights, special presentations and hands-on activities, among others, are included in your experience. Greenfield Village is open for this event 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday-Monday. Tickets are $27/ages 12-plus, $20.25/ages 3-11 and free/kids 2 and under. Parking is $6.
