Monster Jam is back at Ford Field in Detroit on March 4, 2017. If you missed the fun earlier this year, here’s another chance to catch all the high-intensity action! Kick off the festivities at a Pit Party, which runs from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. This event before the main event offers fans a chance to get up close and personal with the trucks and drivers in the Monster Jam show. Here, families can take pictures with drivers, get autographs, snap photos with their favorite truck and more. A Monster Jam ticket, plus a pit pass for an additional $10, is required to attend this part of the fun. Gates for the main Monster Jam event open at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Early arrival time is strongly encouraged to ensure a close parking space. The show starts at 7 p.m. so make sure you and your little ones are in your seats by then and ready to watch some dirt fly. You’ll see all your favorite trucks – including Grave Digger – smash their way through tough obstacles right before your eyes. Monster Jam is perfect for children who love trucks and action, but keep in mind that the noise level may be loud in the stadium, so earplugs are suggested for young children. There will be opportunities for refreshments and food throughout the event, so make sure to bring your appetite. Ticket prices range from $15 to $70. Children younger than 2 get in free if they don’t occupy a seat; kids ages 2 and older must have a ticket. Parking is $15 per vehicle. Be sure to allow extra time for traffic, weather and parking.
