If any of these things sound enjoyable to you and your family, then you’ll be glad to know that you can attend two shows catering to your interests at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi this month – and you’ll only have to pay for one.

Outdoorama and the Cottage & Lakefront Living Show will be at the expo center the weekend of Feb. 25-28, 2016.

Advertised as a “must-see for everyone who loves the outdoors,” Outdoorama puts the focus on hunting, fishing, boating, hiking and more with attractions like the Trout Pond, Virtual Fishing Simulator and various activities for deer hunters.

A definite crowd-pleaser among families will be The Marvelous Mutts, a crew of performing dogs – all adopted from shelters and rescue groups – who will show off their abilities during multiple performances at Outdoorama.

Many other special presentations and events will be held during the show, including Big Buck Night at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 featuring interviews with a couple top Michigan hunters and highlighting some hunting stories. You’ll also find a huge display of boats, docks and marine accessories.

Included with admission to Outdoorama is free crossover admission to the Cottage & Lakefront Living Show – Detroit, which celebrates the cottage and lakefront living lifestyle.

Highlights of this show include shopping and comparing cottage designs and furnishings, plus information on vacation services and financing. There’s also a Cottage Fine Art Show and Lakefront Marketplace, and the kids will love the giant sandbox “beach” and the chance to ride in a giant Zorb Ball in the Zorb pool.
