Swing by this Macomb County city for entertainment and fun for the kids July 23-25, 2015. « Previous Next » Sarah Rahal • July 16, 2015 Read Comments (3) Tweet Sterlingfest Art & Music Fair, which features multiple stages of live music, carnival rides, dozens of food vendors and so much more, will be back for another year of exciting fun July 23-25, 2015 at Dodge Park. This year’s band line-up for each of the four stages offer a variety of different genres of music, including jazz, county, fold, oldies, pop and even an entire stage just for kids. There will also be tributes to the Beach Boys, Bob Seger and Bon Jovi. Not only to kids have their own music stage, Sterlingfest has a Kidzfest. Thursday through Saturday all day kids can watch magic shows by Magic Joe, Tom Plunkard and Baffiling Bill. On Thursday, they can meet Rosco the Clown or Tim Salisbury the juggler on Friday. And your little ones won’t be the only little creatures running around. Take them to visit all the animals and shows everyday. Sterlingfest features carnival rides and games all weekend. Unlimited ride tickets are $16 when purchased before July 22 or $22 on site. There is also a family pass available for $50 for a family of four (only on Thursday). But if you’re not riding the carnival rides join the SterlingFAST 5k run/walk on Saturday. Registration deadline is 9 a.m. that morning and begins on Utica Road across from City Hall. SterlingFAST will help raise funds to improve and maintain the Dodge Park. The event runs 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. Visit online for a full schedule of lineups for each stage.
