Halloween can get scary for the tykes – what with all the monsters, witches and ghosts. But have no fear, kids: The Zoo Boo at the Detroit Zoo promises only “merry” (not scary) fun at its annual October event!
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays Oct. 14-Oct. 30, the whole family can visit southeast Michigan’s hometown zoo for live entertainment, games, activities and more. Kids can trick-or-treat through a decorated half-mile trail – so don’t forget to wear Halloween costumes.
Be sure to stop by the Haunted Reptile House, Ghouly Games tend and Zombie Zone, too. No worries here, either: Everything is geared toward the younger kids!
Top it off a twirl on the brand-new carousel – featuring a sea lion, rabbit and T-rex – and be sure to catch movie The Curse of Skull Rock at the Wild Adventure 3-D/4-D Theatre.
Tickets are $7 (add $4 for the film), and the event takes place in half hour time slots, starting at 6 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m. Remember, this event does sell out, so get your tickets now!
