Need a break from your regular gastronomy routine? Take the family – or go on a much-needed date – to Ann Arbor's Restaurant Week, Jan. 20-25, where you will be able to taste your way through 20-plus restaurant menus – while saving money.
Organized by the Main Street Area Association, this twice-a-year event, occurring in January and June, offers hungry restaurant goers the opportunity to dine at selected Tree Town eateries without breaking the bank.
This year, lunch will cost $15 for a menu of special items. Some restaurants will also be offering two-for-one pricing during lunch. For dinner, you can indulge your appreciation for fine dining at a fixed price of $28 for a three-course meal. A choice of menu items will be offered for each course. Note: For both lunch and dinner, beverage, tax and gratuity are not included in the special pricing.
Do you have a little one who's a picky eater? Not a problem, all of the restaurants participating in Restaurant Week will still be offering their full menus, so restaurant goers are not limited to discounted menu items. So, during this bi-annual event, you can please your palette, pocketbook and picky eater.
Some of the restaurants that will be participating in this round of Restaurant Week include Argiero's, The Black Pearl, The Blue Nile, The Chop House, Conor O'Neill's, Gandy Dancer, Gratzi and Jazzy Veggie, to name a few.
To confirm which restaurants will be offering two-for-one pricing, check the menus listed on the Ann Arbor Restaurant Week website. Reservations are strongly recommended, because tables fill up quickly. To make reservations, contact the individual restaurant that you are interested in dining at during restaurant week.
