Join Cranbrook Institute of Science and members of the Warren Astronomical Society to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing on Saturday, July 20 from 1-4 p.m.
Learn about the geology of the moon, explore the moon in Virtual Reality, discover details about the Apollo missions, visit the Cranbrook Observatory, and try to observe the moon during the day! Programs in the Acheson Planetarium and tickets to the Doom of the Dinosaurs: Are We Next? exhibit and exploreLAB can be purchased for an additional fee.
