Celebrate the amazing natural history of Michigan and the Great Lakes by participating in a variety of family friendly events, demonstrations, and hands-on activities at the museum including:

  • A book reading and signing of children’s book, Old Rock (is not boring) by Deb Pilutti
  • St. Clair-Detroit River Sturgeon for Tomorrow presentation by Jeremy Guc
  • An educational watersheds event
  • Visits with scientists doing research on Great Lakes issues
  • Great Lakes science in two Investigate Labs
  • Special exhibit Survivor: The Long Journey of Lake Sturgeon
  • Hands-on activity stations and more
