Runners from across the country will descend on Ford Field Park in Dearborn on April 14 for Martian Invasion of Races, which features a traditional 26-mile marathon and a 13-mile half marathon, as well as a 5k and 10k, and a shorter kids’ marathon. For competitive runners, the 26-mile marathon is a qualifier for the prestigious Boston Marathon. Registration required.
