Families are invited to The Village of Rochester Hills shopping area on weekends in January to enjoy ice carvings, sweet treats and outdoor fitness. From 4-7 p.m. on Fridays, the artists of Finesse Ice will turn blocks of ice into carvings that will remain outside as long as the weather is cold. On Saturday and Sunday mornings (from 11 a.m.-noon) an outdoor yoga class will be held in a warming tent at Fountain Park. Saturday nights are for live music at Fountain Park, with artists changing weekly. Area bakeries will hand out gifts to the first 50 families that visit beginning at noon on Sweet Treat Sundays (Nothing Bundt Cakes on Jan. 17 and The Little Donut Factory Jan. 24 & 31).
