Join Cranbrook Institute of Science for a special evening of moon-related activities leading up to the total lunar eclipse during its event, Total Eclipse, Total Fun on Sunday, Jan. 20 from 8-11 p.m.
The Cranbrook Observatory will be open during the event and members of the Warren Astronomical Society will have more telescopes available outside, both weather permitting. Additionally, guests will be able to enjoy a new show, Eclipses and the Night Sky, in the Acheson Planetarium, space-related virtual reality, a presentation on the Geology and Origin of the Moon, sessions on lunar eclipses’ ancient myths and legends, and more.
