Each year, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra hosts an awesome series great for little tykes 2-5 years old called the Tiny Tots series. They all happen at 10 a.m.
Here’s what’s in store for 2017-18:
Oct. 28: Rock O’Ween. The ever-popular Miss Paula and the Candy Bandits play some of your child’s favorite nursery rhymes to the beat of rock ‘n’ roll.
Nov. 18: Sean Dobbins and Friends. This jazz show offers kids the chance to jam with the band; plus lots of dancing and sing opportunities.
March 24: Uncle Gerry and Friends. This group stems from the world-renowned Music Together program and will get kids up and dancing to classic kids’ songs.
May 5: Gemini Presents Good Mischief. Twin brothers Sandor and Laszlo Slomovits perform their original songs about childhood and growing up at this interactive and dynamic show.
Do these shows sound like fun? Enter by Sept. 27, 2017 for your chance to win four tickets to each show in the series. And if you have older kids, check out the DSO’s Young Peoples Family Concert Series. We’re giving away tickets to that series, too.
