Are you looking for something exciting to do with the kids this summer? How about a trip to Michigan’s largest and oldest amusement park?
Michigan’s Adventure is located just outside of Grand Rapids, about a three-hour drive from Detroit, and has been serving up screams since 1956.
Currently, the park boasts more than 60 rides and attractions including Shivering Timbers, the largest and fastest wooden roller coaster in the state, and Michigan’s first suspended looping roller coaster, Thunderhawk.
It also offers Camp Snoopy — a Peanuts-themed kids’ area that features five fun rides for young thrill-seekers. Plus, the park’s major draw, WildWater Adventure water park, offers numerous water slides for all ages along with three wave pools and the kids’ area, Half-Pint Paradise, which offers a splash pad, dumping structures, bubbling geysers and much more!
