COVID-19 Outbreaks at Michigan Schools

The state of Michigan is tracking outbreaks at our schools and colleges. Here are the latest COVID outbreaks at schools in metro Detroit and Ann Arbor.

School is back in session and on top of monitoring our kids’ grades and extra-curricular activities, parents need to keep track of COVID outbreaks so that they can make the most educated decisions about their kids’ schooling this year.

Lucky for parents, the state of Michigan’s Department of Health and Human Services is keeping track of new and ongoing COVID-19 outbreaks at Michigan schools, including K-12 schools and colleges.

Here, we’ve taken that list and broken it down so that parents here in metro Detroit and Ann Arbor can easily see which local schools have had cases of COVID — and we’re updating it each week to help you keep up-to-date on the latest information.

Note: Parents should keep in mind that that the “real-time” data provided by the state may be up to a week old, according to a report from Bridge Magazine. Use this data as a reference point and be sure that you’re following your child’s school on social media for the most immediate information.
