One of my favorite pen pals is 4 years old and celebrates Hanukkah. She’s a terrific crafter, so every holiday season I like to send her some new crafting supplies for her to enjoy. In addition to basic paper staples in rich blues and silvers, I like to see what’s new in stores for her imagination to run wild with. I usually head to Paper Source to make her care package since there’s always something new to send her way! Here are a few staples to add to your Hanukkah DIY supply list.
Holiday Message Stamps
From Hanukkah greetings of cheer to a small dreidel, stamps are always ideal to have on hand for making cards, garlands and more. Try looking for stamp pads in a variety of shades of blue to pair with them.
These envelope seals are a must for sticker lovers! Add them to plain wrapping paper sheets for a unique wrapping option your child can assist with.
Wrapping Papers & Paper Shapes
Larger die-cut paper shapes are also perfect for creating cheerful Hanukkah cards.
Add extra personality to a plain envelope by adding a piece of holiday wrapping paper as a liner. Your child can trace and cut the shape to add to their handmade cards.
