This new event, which runs on Livernois between Seven and Eight Mile, puts 30 pieces of artwork by local artists, ages 5-22, along with the winning pieces from the Metro Detroit Youth Arts Competition on display in the windows of five local businesses. Bring the kids down to see the artwork starting the first weekend in October.
Then, on Oct. 17, 2020, return for the Art Walk on Livernois. During this event, two local residents will take you on a walk along Livernois to learn about the area’s murals and see the artwork on display.
At 1:30 p.m., local poet Ife Martin will perform her poem Silence, too.
The Art Walk on Livernois runs 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020. Tickets are $15/general or $35/VIP. Reserved time slots are required as are face masks. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.
