A month full of music and fun activities for the whole family starts on Friday, June 8 and spans through July 1, 2018 – so head on out to Tree Town for its annual Ann Arbor Summer Festival.
This festival is packed full of musicians and other performances, including Magdalen Fossum and The Ragbirds as well as numerous other singers and bands.
Check out the other shows, such as aerial comedy shows by eVenti Verticali’s and comedy shows by Polyglot Theatre’s Ants.
The KidZone is hosting a bunch of events, promising fun for kids of all ages. The events include live animal presentations by the Leslie Science and Nature Center, chalk artists, fun learning activities like the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra Instrument Petting Zoo, Summers-Knoll School Connect with Nature! and much more.
In addition to performances and activities, families can check out the movie screenings. Introduce your kids the classics, such as Mary Poppins, or experience some new flicks, like Wonder Woman, together.
Parents, there’s plenty for you, too. You can even wind down with wine and beer tastings–plus yoga and barre classes
The festival has events every day from Friday, June 9-Sunday, July 1 – except on Mondays. Times and activities vary, so be sure to check the website for the latest.
The best part? Some of these events and activities are free! Tickets for the different events at the main stage vary, but the more events you buy tickets for, the more you save. You could save up to 20 percent with five or more events.
Pick and choose what you and your family want to do, and join in on the summer fun.
