Popular summer festival Soaring Eagle Arts, Beats & Eats has been canceled for 2020 due to COVID-19-related health concerns, but organizers are offering a virtual alternative.

The featured event, dubbed “The Beats Go On…” will raise funds for local musicians while providing a musical outlet through limited capacity drive-in concerts Labor Day Weekend.

Arts, Beats & Eats is also hosting “Art by Appointment.” Patrons can preview top Michigan artists’ work online and then schedule a 75 minute visit with up to 20 participating fine artists.

An innovative food initiative, “Eats on Your Street,” delivers top locally-owned food trucks into Royal Oak neighborhoods and nearby communities, such as Berkley, Clawson, Ferndale, Huntington Woods and more.

Priority Health is sponsoring “Priority Health Healthy Fun,” weekend morning fitness events, including 100-person outdoor yoga and Zumba-style events at a safe social distance, with a minimum of 12 feet between participants.

All events have been constructed in collaboration with the Oakland County Health Department and meet current State of Michigan event guidelines and safety protocols.
