Ice skating, live music, acrobatics – oh, my! These are just some of the spectacular features of the new show Cirque du Soleil: Axel, which is stopping in Detroit for six breathtaking performances at Little Caesars Arena, Jan. 2-5, 2020.

This acrobatic ice show tells the story of the passionate musician and graphic artist, Axel, who, with friend Lei, travels to captivating and colorful worlds in search of the stolen light.

Along the way, Axel falls for Lei and finds his voice along with the courage to fulfill his destiny.

Guests of this performance can expect dazzling displays of ice skating and jaw-dropping acrobatic stunts high above the ice, all set to live music.

Cirque du Soleil: Axel plays at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit Jan. 2-5, 2020. Showtimes are as follows:

  • 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2
  • 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3
  • 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4
