Are you looking step your family’s New Year’s Eve festivities up a notch? Kick off 2019 with some high-adrenaline fun at the annual New Year’s Eve Extravaganza at Mt. Brighton ski resort in Livingston County on Dec. 31, 2018.
This annual event begins at 7 p.m. New Year’s Eve with skiing and snowboarding on the mountain. Novice and experienced participants of all ages share the 25 trails and five lifts to get in as much snowy fun as they can before January rolls in.
In between their shredding sessions, families that make a reservation can warm up in the Ore Creek Mountain Grill. This eatery offers a prime rib buffet during the event that’s full of delicious ribs, turkey, veggies and desserts like tiramisu.
But that’s not all. Guests can also dance 2018 away with a live DJ and some of the hottest hits of the past year; get a piece of balloon art; have their faces painted and watch the spectacular fireworks display, which starts at 10 p.m.
The New Year’s Eve Extravaganza at Mt. Brighton runs 7-10:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018. Admission to the event is free, but the prime rib buffet will runs $29.95/adults and $14.95/kids 12 and under.
Lift tickets are required for skiing and snowboarding.
