If you’re a paper-craft enthusiast and you’ve got drawers full of scrapbooking materials and scraps, then this event is for you.
At the 20th annual Great Lakes Mega Meet, held May 9-11, 2019 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, indulge in some of the best scrapbooking supplies out there and construct masterpieces with family and friends.
Throughout the threedays of this event, scrapbookers will be able to attend classes and get tips from professional scrappers and create make-and-take projects at vendor stations. Plus, this event is chock-full of awesome scrapbooking materials you can use during the event or purchase.
Event-goers have the opportunity to win numerous prizes for their outstanding scrapbooking skills too.Some of these prizes include the daily grand prize, which can be won simply by filling out a form and awaiting the daily drawing.
The next prize up for grabs is the door prize. Every person who registers is entered into the drawing. The last prize is the crop prize, which is for the best-themed table – so get the gang together and demonstrate your creative cropping skills to get your hands on this cool prize.
If you are the ultimate cropper, sign up for the All Day Cropping, which runs 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, or the Friday Night Crop Party, which runs 9 a.m.-midnight.
At these two special events, you will have the opportunity to crop for hours and participate in contests and games, sponsored by the exhibitors. If you run out of any materials during your cropping extravaganza, a stocked up vendor will be steps away. Many vendors will have merchandise for sale at their own tables throughout the cropping room.
Join in the fun and get scrapbooking during general show hours, which are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday-Friday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
Walk-in daily admission is $10/adult, and free/kids 10 and under (with an adult). Single-day passes are also available online for a discount, as are two- and three-day options. All-Day Cropping, Friday Night Crop Party and classes have additional fees and parking is $5 per car.
