Looking for a great way to kick off your pre-Memorial Day fun? Well look no further than the annual Greater Rochester Heritage Days at Rochester Municipal Park, which takes place May 19-20, 2018 – rain or shine.
It’s fun for the whole family, complete with historical displays and Civil War demonstrations. Whether your family is filled with history lovers or not, this festival is the perfect way for kids to have fun while learning about one of metro Detroit’s most popular cities.
Kids and grown-ups alike will get a kick out of the wide variety of activities and games including an arts and craft show, car show, food and live musical entertainment.
There’s even live animals for little tykes and an old-fashioned baseball game.
Event times are as follows:
- Saturday: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Admission to this event is free.
