Summer may be fading fast, but the family fun is still holding strong downriver with the return of the Lincoln Park Days festival. It runs Aug. 24-26, 2018.

This nearly 100-year-old end-of-summer blast kicks off the weekend with the jaw-dropping, death-defying bicycle stunts of Chris Clark at 4:30 and 7 p.m. And the musical talents of the Downriver Dan Band and Fifty Amp Fuse grace the stage at 5:30 and 8 p.m.

Next up, Saturday features even more family fun with a car and truck show that goes 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Afterwards, Clark returns to the stages at 1, 3 and 5:30 p.m. with even more music by SpaceCat, Crazy Babies – Ozzy Rebourne and others in between.

Sunday keeps the jams going strong with tunes by a Blues Brothers tribute band, Wisteria and The Harponics, among others. Plus, be sure to get hoofing to the horseshoe club tournaments, which begin at 10 a.m.

But that’s not all. Families can get in one last summer ride or midway game at the carnival, which is open all weekend, check out craft and vendor displays and even visit with critters from the Wild World Zoo.

Lincoln Park Days officially runs 4-11 p.m. Friday, noon-11 p.m. Saturday and noon-9 p.m. Sunday, though some events begin earlier. Admission is free but fees do apply for select activities. Proceeds from the event go toward preventing child abuse
